Rotational Transfer 2021 Kept on Hold – Postal Directorate Orders

Hi friends, Postal Directorate in its letter No.X-12/1/2019-SPB-II-Part(1) dated 13.05.2021 addressed to all Chief Postmaster General has ordered to kept on hold the Rotational Transfers for the year 2021 stating that Postal Directorate is reviewing rotational transfer policy to avoid movement of officers/officials on account of second wave of Covid-19 in the country.

Subject: Transfer on completion of post/station tenure by officers/officials in Department of Posts — reg.
Madam/Sir,

With reference to the subject matter it is to intimate that in view of existing COVID-19 pandemic condition, Postal Directorate is reviewing rotational transfer policy to avoid movement of officers/officials. The revised guideline will be issued shortly.

2. In view of the above, undersigned is directed to request you that rotational transfer order for the year 2021 may not be issued at present. Wherever transfer orders have been issued but yet to be implemented, the same may be kept in abeyance.

3. All authorities concerned in the Circle may be directed to strictly adhere to this instruction.
